UAlbany alumni are welcome to visit the libraries and use our collections on-site. Databases can be accessed at the University Library. You may apply for alumni borrowing privileges.
As an alumni borrower the following loan periods apply:
Borrower | Circulating Books Loan Period / Item Limits / Renewals |
Media Loan Period / Item Limits / Renewals |
Alumni/Courtesy | 30 days / 25 items / 2 renewals | 7 days / 10 items / 1 Renewal |
To apply to become an alumni borrower you will need:
Affiliation | Expiration Date | Required IDs or documentation |
University at Albany Alumni | One year | Valid government-issued photo ID Verified by Staff in MyUAlbany or with another campus office |
Please visit any of our libraries to apply. There is a fee associated with borrowing.
