How do I know that AI-generated content is reliable or trustworthy?

Answer

As with all references on the Internet, you should take time to locate and verify the original source. ChatGPT- and other AI-generated content may be a hallucination (for details on what a hallucination is, see “When AI Chatbots Hallucinate”), so you should always confirm the citation is accurate. When you cannot verify the source, do not use the information or content.
