I’ve already added my UAlbany affiliation to my ORCID record – how should I manage these duplicates?

At this time, it is not possible to merge affiliation items from different sources in your ORCID record. We suggest keeping the item(s) that list SUNY in the “Source” field, as these are regarded as more “authoritative” by other systems that use ORCID data for purposes such as pre-populating forms (for example, manuscript submission and grant application forms).
