What is the process for requesting an incoming Data Use Agreement?
To begin the Data Use Agreement (DUA) review process, the PI must submit a completed DUA packet to firstname.lastname@example.org with a subject line of “DUA intake form: Firstname Lastname” (e.g., “DUA intake form: Albus Dumbledore”).
Once submitted, University stakeholders (e.g., Sponsored Programs, ITS, Office of General Counsel, Controller’s Office, Office of Regulatory Research and Compliance, Office of Enterprise Risk Management, etc.) may be consulted to verify that your Data Management Plan demonstrates appropriate data stewardship and to ensure that the University can meet the DUA’s terms and conditions.
