What Open Access publishing options do the Libraries provide?

Answer

In addition to the Cambridge University Press, Institute of Physics, and American Chemical Society agreements, the University’s Open Access Policy is a powerful tool for UAlbany authors.

This policy ensures UAlbany authors retain the rights necessary to openly distribute the accepted manuscript version of any scholarly article accepted after the policy’s adoption in a repository of their choosing, including the University’s open access repository, Scholars Archive.

Scholars Archive offers the community a centralized location to collect and share student, faculty, and staff scholarly work, from scholarly articles and theses and dissertations to data and gray literature.

You may find more information about the policy on our Open Access Author Services page, and more information about the Libraries’ related offerings on our Scholarly Communication Services page.
