How do I take advantage of the Cambridge University Press Agreement?

Answer

Here's what you need to do to publish open access in a CUP journal:

  1. Submit an article as a corresponding author to the Cambridge University Press journal of your choice.

  1. Once notified of the article’s acceptance, complete the OA publishing agreement and choose a Creative Commons license. The article will be matched with the University Libraries’ agreement, and the APC will be automatically waived. Note that the institutional affiliation of the corresponding author determines eligibility.

Because you will select to take advantage of this agreement at the point of acceptance, you can do during any of the agreement's three year term, regardless of when the work is published.

For detailed steps through the process, please see this Step by Step Guide to Publishing OA.
