Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC), also known as Bloomberg Certification, is a self-paced e-learning course that provides a visual introduction to financial markets and the core functionality of the Bloomberg terminal. The terminal provides students with real-time data on the market, news, and the world. After finishing BMC, Bloomberg provides a Certificate of Completion
BMC is available through the library's Bloomberg Terminal at no additional charge. The Bloomberg terminal is located in a private cubicle on the first floor, south wing, of the University Library. The room key can be checked out at the service desk.
To take the Bloomberg Market Concepts training:
- Run the function BMC<GO> by entering BMC into the command line and hitting "enter".
- Plug your headphones into the back of the Bloomberg keyboard. Headphones are available at the main service desk.
