Use our Search tool to identify government documents in print and online formats.

For online documents, narrow the results of your search by selecting the Resource Type value of Government Documents.

For documents in print format, change the scope from Everything to UAlbany Libraries at the point of your search. Narrow the results of your search by selecting the Location value of University Library Government Documents. This collection is in the basement of the University Library in the bound Periodicals Room. The spine labels begin with J 85. Most of the materials in this collection were acquired between 1964 and 2013. Due to public safety concerns as a result of COVID-19, UAlbany's physical collection of Federal Depository materials is not open to patrons. UAlbany staff, students, and faculty may request these materials through our Search tool. Others may borrow materials from this collection using the interlibrary loan service of their affiliated library.
