The University Libraries does not have individually published sheet music. We do have bound volumes of musical scores for several classical composers.
Use our Search tool and change the scope from Everything to UAlbany Libraries. Search examples:
- by composer, e.g., mozart
- by type of composition, e.g., opera
- by composition title, e.g., nozze di figaro
Narrow your results by selecting the Resource Type value of Scores.
Sometimes identifying characteristics of composers can be searched on when two or more composers are published in the same volume, e.g., music by gay composers. Go to Advanced Search in our Search tool and search on Subject -- contains. Example: Subject -- contains -- music by gay composers.
