Most of our novels, poetry, short stories, and literary criticism are shelved on the second floor of the University Library. English language literature, including novels, is shelved in the PR and PS sections. Our Popular Books Collection and graphic novels are shelved on the 1st floor North of the University Library.
Select UAlbany Libraries as your search scope
You may save some time if you use our Search tool before going to the second floor. You can search by title, author, or subject with the scope set to UAlbany Libraries.
Here's an example of searching for a novel about families. Type families novels in the search bar and choose UAlbany Libraries before you click on the magnifying glass.
If your results are too large, reduce them by making the following filter selections on the left side of the results page.
Under Availability, select Owned by library
Under Resource Type, select Books
Under Subject, select Novels
